Why we have paused
live-streaming
We know some of you have appreciated watching our services online, especially if you live farther away or can’t join us on Sundays. Here’s why we’ve chosen to pause live-streaming for now:
1. Creating a Safe Space to Share
We’re making more room in our services for people to share personal stories of faith, struggle, and transformation. It’s much easier to share openly in a trusted, in-person setting than with a wider online audience. Pausing the livestream helps us create that safe space.
2. Protecting Our Kids
We’re involving children and youth more actively in our gatherings. To prioritize their safety and dignity, we’ve chosen not to broadcast their contributions.
3. Moving Beyond COVID Habits
Live-streaming began when we couldn’t gather. But now, we believe there’s something unique and irreplaceable about being together in person. If you’re able, we’d love to welcome you in person.
Here’s how to stay connected
We know some of you have valued watching our Sunday live-stream each week. So, if you live locally but are unable to attend, or you’re a part of our wider community, please know you’re not forgotten. Your presence matters to us. Here’s how to keep connected with us:
1) Sign up for a home visit
If you live locally and would like a visit, we’re setting up a team to come and share a friendly chat, prayer, and communion with you at home. If this is something you’d like to hear more about, let us know by sending us an email or calling the church office.
2) Subscribe to Pastor Mark’s “Bitesize” Email
Bitesize is Pastor Mark’s weekly email with a one-minute recap of Sunday’s message, a link to the Sermon video and a few reflection questions to take it deeper. It’s short, hope-filled and it’s sent out every Monday to help you start the week with focus and faith.
