GIVING AT CALVARY
We believe church is more than Sunday services! We’re a community learning the “unforced rhythms” of following Jesus: eating together, helping each other through the hard stuff, and keeping our eyes open for what God is doing right here in Gibsons.
Your generosity is part of that story. Every gift helps us keep gathering, praying, sharing meals, serving our neighbours, and extending God’s welcome to anyone who walks through the door.
WHAT YOU’RE GIVING TO
Our general fund is what keeps the heartbeat of Calvary strong. It covers the everyday things that make ministry possible: worship, pastoral care, community meals, coffee after the service, lights, heat, staff salaries and programs that bless our town.
Choosing Where Your Gift Goes
You can give to the general fund or to a specific project. Just let us know your choice when you give by noting it on your envelope, cheque, e-transfer message, or pre-authorized debit instructions. Want to split a gift? Simply write the amounts for each.
HOW TO GIVE
GIVING IN PERSON
Cash - Place your gift in a giving envelope and place it in the offering plate at a Sunday service.
Cheque - Please make your cheque payable to Calvary Baptist Church.
Credit/Debit Card - Please use the card reader in the church foyer
GIVING ONLINE/AUTOMATIC
E-Transfer - Send your e-transfer to office@calvarygibsons.ca. Many banks now make it easy to set up a regular e-transfer so your giving happens automatically if that’s what you would like to do.
Pre-Authorized Debit - Contact Heike in the office to help you set up automatic withdrawals.
ONE-TIME OR REGULAR?
Regular giving provides stability, helping us plan ahead and cover ongoing costs like staff, utilities, and ministry programs without interruption. One-time gifts strengthen that same work and give us flexibility to respond to special opportunities or needs as they arise. However you give, it all supports the life and mission of our church.
